Large Carved Bowl - Iron White

This large carved bowl is made out of an iron-rich clay body, which after firing takes on the appearance of burnt iron. The carving detail at the lower portion of the bowl provides a unique vehicle for the clay body to show through, creating a striking visual contrast. With a diameter opening of 10 1/4" and standing 5 1/2" tall, this bowl is both a functional vessel and decorative.
